Tips for maintaining a wool rug: - It's important to vacuum the rug, starting from day one. Note: Only use the smooth vacuum nozzle on a low suction setting (without a rotating brush). This prevents dust residue from adhering and eventually accumulating between the material and allows the fibers to repair themselves. Wool is a natural product; spray the rug lightly with cold water every three months to keep it in good condition. To prevent tracks, we recommend rotating the rug 180 degrees every three months. It's also a good idea to beat the rug outdoors a few times a year. We recommend using a non-slip underlay with this rug. This prevents falls and slips in the living room, bedroom, or children's room!
